Practice Concentration & Experience
Tim Bliss's practice concentration is in intellectual property, with an emphasis on patent preparation and prosecution related primarily to computer hardware and software, systems and methods for circuit-switched and packet-based communications, and medical implant devices and surgical tools. Mr. Bliss also has experience in the areas of invalidity and non-infringement opinions, patentability and clearance searches and analyses, infringement analyses for patent portfolios, due diligence of intellectual property portfolios for acquisition purposes, and general client counseling on patent strategies.

Prior to joining Howison & Arnott, Mr. Bliss practiced law with a large Texas law firm for a number of years before opening his own law firm.
Education
Mr. Bliss graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, Athens, GA (J.D., 1996), the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK (B.S. Computer Engineering, 2000), and the University of Central Oklahoma (B.A. German, 1992).
